Custom Courtroom Furniture for City of Portland

When the City of Portland built a new courthouse, they had a hard time finding furniture to fulfill the specific look and function they needed for their courtrooms. On a basic level, the furniture had to be durable and beautiful. However, the courthouse also had some unique requirements: Many of the courtroom tables had to be made from wood, and needed to include height adjustable tops and reliable power access, all while meeting a variety of ADA compliance codes.

By listening closely to the needs of the city and brainstorming among our team, we designed fully custom courtroom tables that looked clean and functioned effectively. A beautiful aesthetic is always a hallmark of Agati design, but utilizing power access at the top of the table, legs that easily adjusted for height, and modern wood tones allowed this piece to stand out as a clear example of the adaptability and creativity our team strives for.

Indoor Picnic Tables for United Airlines

Recently, United Airlines decided to remodel all of the breakrooms for their on-field line staff. As part of their breakroom remodel, United needed an indoor picnic table that looked great and could stand up to consistent use from their staff, which is where Agati came in.

Custom commercial furniture projects are always unique, and this one was no different. After working through a few design ideas, we came to a consensus for an all-steel base, gently curved seating, and a finish that matched their brand. With a simple install and a guarantee for effective use for years to come, we put this one down as another favorite.

Custom Examination Stand

Vein Clinics of America was having a problem with their patient examination stands throughout their nationwide network of vein clinics. The stands simply weren’t as strong as they needed to be and they didn’t function in a way that was optimal for their patients. Perhaps not surprisingly, but unfortunate nevertheless, examination stands aren’t a terribly common product, and the selection in the marketplace was rather limited.

So VCA reached out to our team and we got to work on a custom solution. Partnering with a variety of stakeholders at VCA, we came up with a design that had the strength and function their unique application demanded, along with the versatility to be used for the variety of examinations and treatments they offer. This was a unique custom project that our team loves knowing is utilized each and every day.

Custom Wood Chairs

For decades now, clients have also come to Agati for a variety of custom wood chair solutions. Houses of worship looking for kneelers and hymnal racks, universities and private schools wanting to have their crest or logo etched onto the splat of a chair, and even full historic reproductions of furniture are just a few of the custom wood seating projects we’ve taken on.
