Vein Clinic Stand designed with guidance from actual vein clinics

We worked directly with medical professionals to design custom vein stands. Doctors and medical professionals in cardiovascular health didn’t have a stand for vein patients, so they came to AGATI to custom design an ultrasound stand. They wanted a step stool design with a railing so patients could remain standing during the exam. This design safely elevates patients and prevents doctors, nurses and staff from having to bend over while examining and treating patients.

One reason that medical professionals came to AGATI for help in designing a vein stand, is because patients run the risk of fainting after standing and locking their knees for 10-20+ minutes. We designed this stand to give both the technician and the patient more precautionary options and time to intervene and support.

Curved cutout in side of platform provides space for healthcare professionals to lean in comfortably while examining patients.

Vertical bars on three sides and the rails along the stairs help patients steady themselves and reduce the risk of falling. The bar around the exam area helps prevent the patient from falling onto the technician. This bar also gives the technician a firm rail to hold onto while supporting the patient.
