The coziness of upholstered, wrap-around arms gives people a sense of their own private lounge chair -whether used individually or in a cluster with access to a stone table top. Either way, people get a feeling of security in a public space.

36 sq ft Footprint

Depending on the needs of your space, Orb Cluster can be a great space saver. For individual seating, four people receive their own lounge chair, stone table top surface, and access to power. The four-person-cluster is great for solo travelers at an airport, single users looking to read a book at a library, or individuals waiting in an office or healthcare lobby . With the outward facing design, users naturally set their luggage next to them (as opposed to on an adjacent seat in row seating) therefor not blocking a usable seat! All of this, with only a 36 sq ft footprint.

DISCREET POWER & USB OPTIONS

Each lounge chair has its own outlet placed under the stone tabletop for minimal, clean design. As always, our design is inspired by people and how they use public spaces. Charging is at the guests’ fingertips -exactly where we’d reach to charge our laptop or cell phone. Tucking the power underneath also prevents it from getting damaged. The built-in power source in the table and chair combination provides everything one needs for working on the go. Yet all we see is beautiful furniture!

EVERYONE LOVES A LOUNGE CHAIR

Each Orb Cluster provides the comfort of a lounge chair for three or four people at a time. And, each lounge chair has its own access to power. The three-person-seating has three power receptacles, and the four-person-seating has four outlets within reach.

Pick which shape works best for your floor plan, knowing that each user will have comfortable territory with generous buffer areas in between. The design of the cluster gives each traveler enough physical space to “set up shop,” while the staggered sight lines also provide buffers between each personal bubble.

How much space do you need?

Our field research shows people are most comfortable with 12″ of personal space. The 3-person seat Orb Cluster gives guests 18″ in between chairs. Plus, with seats facing in different directions, users gain even bigger personal bubbles with staggered sight lines. Personal space psychologists say we’re more comfortable in public spaces when we have that buffer area between us and another traveler. Passengers and patrons can relax in the Orb Cluster and enjoy their own generous nesting space while waiting.
