The evolution of the Etta chair expansion began with a clear insight: People have consistently gravitated toward the comfort and supportive feel of the original Etta Pull Up Chair’s curved back. We have found that In many public environments, lounge seating may look striking, but when we sit in those lounge chairs, we are not comfortable. By closely observing how people sit, lean, and settle into chairs in high-use settings—libraries, universities, airports, and all public spaces—we recognized an opportunity to do both: deliver refined aesthetics and genuine ergonomic support. Rather than reinvent what worked, our design team honored the original’s strengths and used them as the foundation to expand the Etta Collection into a broader seating family that provides modern, comfortable and coordinating seating options for a range of applications.
