Custom Power Bars give libraries, campuses, and public spaces a charging station built around the room. Agati designs each one to your specs, including height, shape, materials, finishes, and electrical. Pair solid surface or stone tops with wood privacy walls and acrylic divider panels to fit the way people study and work. Designers get a modern charging station that matches the rest of the interior, made in the USA.

A modified Power Bar starts with one of our standard designs, like the Power Bar, Skinny Power Bar, or Power Table. We adjust details such as depth, outlet placement, or added power units to suit your project. For example, a Skinny Power Bar can move power to the worksurface and grow to 26″ deep for ADA clearances.
A custom Power Bar starts with a blank page and your floor plan. Our design team shapes it around the room’s footprint, sightlines, and the people who will use it. Choose custom for signature spaces, unusual layouts, or a one-of-a-kind look.

At the Multnomah County Courthouse in Portland, Oregon, custom Power Bars give visitors a convenient place to charge their devices. Solid wood edge bands and wood panels give each charging table a timeless, polished finish suited to a courtroom setting.
The project used both paths to power. Alongside the custom tables, standard Power Bars were modified to seated height. Agati also furnished the courtrooms with the Brown Courtroom Suite and Brown 4-Leg Tables.
Yes. Our design team plans clearances, depth, and power placement to meet ADA guidelines from the start. For a ready-made option, see the Power Bar with ADA Extension.
Power can sit on the worksurface, in the apron, or on the outer leg panels. We typically place power between users so it stays within easy reach without crowding anyone’s workspace. On our standard Power Bar, all power runs to one strip with a single floor connection below a leg channel. Share floor box locations early so we can design around them.
Shape is fully customizable to your floor plan. Choose straight runs, curves, L-shapes, or any layout your space needs. Send us your layout, and our design team will shape the Power Bar around the room.
Past custom projects have used thick solid surface and stone tops and sides. Browse Materials + Finishes or ask our design team for more info.
