As a wheelchair accessible study space, this carrel is great for public libraries and universities. With room for a wheelchair to pull up to the table, accessible table surface height, and knee clearance, this carrel serves both wheelchair users and pull up chair users. Each accessible computer workstation for one person includes power on the tabletop.

As many facilities are asking “Is our space inclusive and accessible to all?” We designed the this study carrel to accommodate our mobility disability community. The Pod Carrel meets the guidelines for the Americans with Disabilities Act. Some spaces favor a study booth with a separate pull out chair for other reasons. The Pod Carrel pairs with pull up chairs and wheelchairs, and matches beautifully with the original POD. POD Carrels can be combined to form a variety of shapes, or used independently.
