Pod Carrel

Meeting ADA standards, the Pod Carrel is an alternative for the Pod Single, while still giving users the comfort of a curved, partially-enclosed space. An update from wood carrels of the past, fabric surrounds provide a pleasant, sound-absorbing refuge. Great for providing acoustical, individual study within a public space. These private study tables with curved walls can be configured in a wide range of space-saving solutions -from serpentine rows to cluster layouts. Charging capabilities on the generous tabletop give users power at their fingertips with room to spare.

POD Single

The Study Pod for single users is a revolutionary carrel complete with seat, table, power and curved panels.

The key to the Study POD's effectiveness is its curved shape, upholstered panels and the unique position of the user. The POD Study Carrel rotates the user 90 degrees, placing the user inside the carrel and creating a feeling of haven and focus. Curved, upholstered walls offer acoustic protection, giving the Pod study carrels' users their own sanctuary to focus, while still being within the larger space. University and Public Libraries love the Study POD because it does all this without the expense of building walls. Airports love the POD because it provides customers with workstations in terminals and lounges while taking up minimum space.

POD Duo

POD Duo study carrels provide a place for two students to meet. These two person study booths offer comfortable seating, tabletop surface, access to power, and privacy. Easily added to existing floor plans, the POD Duo is designed to be used individually, or in combination other PODs. Arrange these two person study booths in a cluster shape, back-to-back, in a row or serpentine. POD Duos can also be combined with POD Singles. With space for two, POD Duo study carrels are ideal for students participating in one-on-one tutoring, interview training, or pair group activities. Upholstered panels are high enough to block visual distractions in university libraries but do not disrupt the room's sight-lines.

Power Bar – ADA Extension

The ADA Extension can be added onto the standard height Power Bar to add accessibility for more patrons. Power outlets are added to the side panel. Wire management is contained behind the side panels, so all you see are modern, inviting charging tables. Pair with our Altezza Stools.
