The Etta High Back Lounge Chair invites students to stay, socialize and study. It’s tall, curved shell offers a sense of privacy in open social spaces, while the contoured seat and subtle recline deliver comfort through long study breaks and between-class conversations. At MiraCosta College’s Oceanside campus library, Gee lounge chairs arranged in a pinwheel with upholstered privacy screens give students a comfortable place to settle into. Four chairs share a compact footprint, so friends can relax in the busiest part of the room while each person still has a spot of their own. The soft seating invites students to linger between classes, catch up with the people around them, and recharge in the middle of campus life. One Social Solution, Two Heights of Seating

At The Master’s University’s Robert L. Powell Library, the Gee Curve brings two heights of seating into one piece: counter-height seating on one side and relaxed lounge seating on the other. The seating creates a hub in the commons, next to the reception desk, where everyone passes on their way in. Students have made it their daily meeting spot, and they like sitting here together. The counter-height side faces the entrance, and the raised seat height lifts everyone’s sightline to the door, so the group can spot friends the moment they walk in and wave them over. The lounge side gives everyone a comfortable place to settle in and recharge, with a quieter focus area just behind them. The curved form anchors this busy welcome zone while keeping sightlines open across the room.
