POD Duo study carrels provide a place for two students to meet. These two person study booths offer comfortable seating, tabletop surface, access to power, and privacy. Easily added to existing floor plans, the POD Duo is designed to be used individually, or in combination other PODs. Arrange these two person study booths in a cluster shape, back-to-back, in a row or serpentine. POD Duos can also be combined with POD Singles. For inspiration, explore a range of configurations in the photos on left. With space for two, POD Duo study carrels are ideal for students participating in one-on-one tutoring, interview training, or pair group activities. Upholstered panels are high enough to block visual distractions in university libraries but do not disrupt the room's sight-lines.

Tidy Power That Follows the Whole Run

Long banks of carrels ask a lot of a floor plan, and power drives much of it. The Cove Carrel channels in-surface power down through the exterior leg to the floor, so a full serpentine run connects through a single cord drop. Each work surface carries USB-A, USB-C, and an outlet as standard, and power daisy chains from carrel to carrel in any arrangement. That gives designers the flexibility to create one long row, back-to-back, clovers or serpentine arrangements. Acoustic PET panels wrapping each person in a private cove and a 16-color palette that lets designers match the concept of the room. Universities specify the Cove for the modern design, clean power and quiet focus.

Two-Person Booths Built for Two Laptops

Two-person study pods facilitate tutoring appointments, group work, interview practice, or anything that requires two students on one project. At Oregon State University, the POD Duo gives those pairs a booth of their own. The pods provide comfortable seating, a shared tabletop, and power within reach for both devices. Upholstered panels rise high enough for visual privacy while keeping the room’s sight lines open. Oregon State paired the Duos with POD Singles for solo focus and FrameWork whiteboard walls to shape the space around them. Reading Room Tables That Carry Power and Light to Every Seat

A reading room table at a university must stand up to high traffic use for years. At Kenyon College those tables carry power to every student. Agati built custom tables in warm wood with power access. They also included an integrated rail light running the center of the surface, so students plug in and light their work from where they sit. In another section, Roland tables add a tall, frosted divider for privacy across the top, and Ella and Charles wood pull-up chairs match the millwork throughout. Colleges specify Agati tables when power integration has to live inside furniture built to look right in the room for a generation.
